  • Kuvaus: Agni is a 20 year-old girl who sells flowers on the street and in nightclubs. She is in love with Petros, the son of a wealthy family, who is planning to ask her to marry him. Agni’s mother, Nina, is suffering from an incurable disease and has a sinful past. Petros’ father, Mitsos Giavroglou, an unscrupulous businessman, is somewhat responsible for Nina’s past. He and his wife, an old friend of Nina’s, try to break up the young couple, but in the end love conquers all. The movie is somewhat ironic and, at the same time, puts in a sympathetic light to the most popular genres of popular Greek cinema. Melodrama, musicals and tales of sexual and rebellious passion are the main ingredients of this revamped mélange.
